Straight answers.

SOLOH works with compatible smoke alarms that produce the UL-standard T3 smoke-alarm pattern, including supported 520 Hz low-frequency alarms. T3 is the repeating three-beep emergency pattern used for smoke and fire alerts. Check compatibility before purchasing and installation.

Yes, if your existing smoke alarms produce a compatible UL-standard T3 smoke-alarm pattern. Compatibility should be confirmed before installation. SOLOH does not replace your existing smoke alarms — it listens for their supported alarm pattern and sends a recognized alarm event to the professional monitoring center.

If your smoke alarms are interconnected, one SOLOH placed within 6 inches (15 cm) of a compatible alarm can cover the interconnected group because all the alarms sound together. If your smoke alarms are standalone and do not all sound together, each alarm requires its own SOLOH placed within 6 inches (15 cm).

Press and hold the test button on one smoke alarm. If every smoke alarm in the home sounds, they are interconnected. If only the alarm being tested sounds, it is standalone. Always follow the smoke-alarm manufacturer's testing instructions.

Install SOLOH indoors, within 6 inches (15 cm) of a compatible smoke alarm. Follow the enclosed instructions for placement, installation and testing.
